[Final Fantasy XY]

Hm, okay...

1) The text in the boxes gets a little annoying. It doesn't stay consistent. If you start bold, keep it bold. Excessive punctuation in many areas. It just sounded n00bish. It was kinda hard on the eyes in the end. Also, if you wanted to keep it Final Fantasy-esque, the sudden huge text size killed it. :(

2) You should probably add buttons on the text boxes. Some people read a lot faster than others. Just a tip. I could understand not using buttons if you were trying to synchronize the music with the animation, but it didn't look like you were trying to do that.

3) The animation. Argh. Okay, I see that you're using a South Park style. You should at least make them waddle instead of just dragging their feet magically across the grass. The attacks- especially Ifrit's- were poorly animated. However, that's what usually comes out of a static image.

4) Speaking of Ifrit's picture, we can see that white outline around him. It didn't look good with the rest of the movie, not to mention it was in another style. You should keep the styles the same, and probably draw your own South Park styled Ifrit. The way he (physically) attacked looked really bad.

5) The battle bar. What's up with that? The HP is lowering on the wrong side, and after some attacks it doesn't even lower. :P

6) The increasing bar looked bad with a rainbow gradient. Stood out like an eyesore. It was also obvious that it was a scrolling on top of everything else. Try masking on things like that. Could help ya. :) Limit bar never went up, but it doesn't always go up in the game for some things either, so no real complaint about that.

Anyways...

Other than all that, it was somewhat comical. The script was very random. Some things were just lame, but some things, like when Meg came out and just shot Ifrit after that long battle, were pretty funny. The cursing kinda made it sound real immature, though. I don't mind cursing, myself, but it wasn't cleverly put in the dialogue.

Tell your friend to read this. I'm guessing that you're new to flash, but that's alright. :D It's a good start. I see you have the basics down.

I hope you find this review more helpful than insulting. The tone may be too cruelly honest. I don't mean to bash you to death. :P <3

Eh...

I'd give you a 5 if it was original. You probably shouldn't upload things like this on Newgrounds. :P It's funny for you and maybe your little circle of friends. Sure, you credited the Rejected dude, but I think that submitting this to NG for judgement is still ganking his idea. Maybe if you put more to it than low-quality graphics cut-out people it would've been better.

Creativity is lacking, but if I hadn't seen "Rejected" before, I'd honestly find it funny. :P <3 Sorry, Buddy.

There's always room to improve.

The rainbow gradient was terrible. You should try to avoid that. The earth in the beginning was fine, but I'm afraid to say that I was disappointed in the end. :(

That's hilarious. I love it. :) Graphics are great, and it was very random. It probably should have focused on the Brackenwood characters, though. :P
